to the four corners of the earth...

...east, west, north and south, I've been a lot of places to take unique landscapes and my fourth gallery is full of them. Another sunset, this time over the Sonoran Desert; stations, docks, plateaus and buttes, and Noah's Ark?!? There is a lot to see in this gallery!

4.1 - one of my favorite sunsets ever, I snapped this one from a rest area next to the interstate in Arizona. Looking out over the Sonoran Desert.

93. April 2nd.JPG

4.2 - another beauty from my afternoon in the Sunken Gardens of Lincoln, Nebraska.

94. April 3rd.JPG

4.3 - a church set, I believe constructed by HBO, at the Paramount Movie Ranch. It ended up being the only structure left when the rest of the Western Town burned down in 2019.

95. April 4th.JPG

4.4 - another shot of an antique train, a diesel engine with passenger carriages on the Midland Railway in the UK.

96. April 5th.JPG

4.5 - a long range shot of Phoenix from Papago Park.

97. April 6th.JPG

4.6 - a pelican floats in the ocean near the Fort Myers Beach pier.

98. April 7th.JPG

4.7 - a view from the Phoenix airport, one of the first photos I took on that first adventure to Arizona in 2017.

99. April 8th.JPG

4.8 - an old galleon off the coast of Hawaii, spotted it while taking some long range shots.

100. April 9th.jpg

4.9 - a little flower I found in grandma's backyard while mowing the lawn for grandpa.

101. April 10th.jpg

4.10 - a quiet station in south Los Angeles. I noticed that there weren't too many people around and thought it would make an interesting shot.

102. April 11th.JPG

4.11 - another view of the Grand Canyon, even with the points of scale like the people in the foreground, it still fails to capture the massiveness of it.

103. April 12th.JPG

4.12 - a street lamp that caught my interest in Leeds, UK.

104. April 13th.jpg

4.13 - a beautiful view from along the New South Wales coast in Australia.

105. April 14th.JPG

4.14 - this dock in Boston is one of the oldest ports on the North American continent.

106. April 15th.JPG

4.15 - a seagull examines its prey on Fort Myers Beach.

107. April 16th.JPG

4.16 - some geese relax in a body of water near a willow tree on the edge of Tamsworth, UK.

108. April 17th.JPG

4.17 - another Idahoan surprise, this plateau sat about one of the cities there and provided some excellent views, complete with benches.

109. April 18th.JPG

4.18 - a lion in Pittsburgh Zoo, enjoying the afternoon sun. If I could change one thing about this photo, I wish the electric fence wasn't so prominent in the background. It's not the worst though and can serve as a leading line in the composition.

110. April 19th.JPG

4.19 - another beautiful bunch of flowers, which I unfortunately cannot identify or remember where the photo was taken.

111. April 20th.JPG

4.20 - a cargo ship off the coast of California, a long range shot taken from the somewhat ironically named Manhattan Beach, nothing like the Manhattan that comes to mind.

112. April 21st.JPG

4.21 - a view of Tempe, Arizona from near the top of Hayden Butte.

113. April 22nd.jpg

4.22 - over 2017, 2018 and 2019, I visited the City of Angels a lot and I began to document the construction downtown with shots like this one.

114. April 23rd.jpg

4.23 - a lovely evening on Fort Myers Beach. I enjoy the depth and the richness of color in this one.

115. April 24th.JPG

4.24 - the garden surrounding the Creation Museum in Kentucky

116. April 25th.JPG

4.25 - St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. Photographed on my visit in July 2019.

117. April 26th.JPG

4.29 - the life-size replica of Noah's Ark in Kentucky is an impressive structure.

121. April 30th.JPG

4.30 - stage lights behind a singer from Hillsong gave her a sort of glowing halo.
